Geddit? is an Art Gallery assistant application. Its purpose is to supplement a visitors(user) experience while browsing within an art gallery, specifically a local gallery with lesser known artists without a strong online presence. This application gives the artist the opportunity to connect with visitors while giving the user a window into who the artists are and why they create what they create.

Challenges
1. Create an intuitive app, where a user can pick up and Go!
2. Enable user to obtain information in multiple ways, for convenience.
3. Concise design to ensure usability and prove value.
4. Give a user insights not easily found with online sources.

Why?
I imagined the scenario while visiting the local art gallery, in our downtown area. This specific one showcases the art of their students who participate in the galleries weekly classes.
I asked myself, why don't they have profiles for everyone? 🛎
Who would be interested? Why would they use an app for that? What are the benefits of it?
These questions led me to retrieving answers;
Art lovers want to learn more about art. Artists would like to have people recognize their art. Not only does it add depth to a visit to the gallery, but also bridges Artist to Viewer, and could possibly benefit an artist with a career!

With an Idea for the app in mind, I assumed to myself that it couldn't be the most original idea on the planet, so I researched Gallery applications that already existed.
What Technologies were used, how well they are used, and how to bridge gaps for OUR benefit.

Second canvas: The technology we hope to incorporate, with their high-res giga-pixel uploads. Also, the streamline interface and high detailed descriptions. This product can also host your Gallery application using their technology..
Vusiem: The map features are minimal and poorly executed visually, in my opinion. The “Phone photo gallery” feel of the app can be improved.
Hangable: The social community is well done. The ability to use an Augmented Reality feature would be great to implement in a different way!
